Maverick Chelsea

These towers feature 87 luxury condominium units, 112 rental units, and retail spaces on the ground floor. RAAD’s design seamlessly integrated the services for the residential units within the architectural elements to create an inviting atmosphere. The buildings also contain various amenity spaces including a 60-foot indoor pool, library, billiard parlor, childrens playroom, full-size gym, yoga studio, private massage room, steam room/sauna, and meditation room.

The HVAC systems consist of a 300-ton air cooled VRF plant located at the roof to serve 18 stories of residential units. Domestic hot water and HVAC heating is provided via a condensing boiler plant located at the roof level in a penthouse. Air handling units located at the sub-cellar and roof level serve ventilation needs throughout the building. A smoke control system was designed for the below grade levels of the buildings.
